VizSwap has many features, but filters stand out as a unique & powerful way to save time! Let's explore two major use cases.
Projects & Deadlines
On your VizSwap site, there is a My Projects page (https://<yourdomain>.vizswap.com/projects). This is one of the places that equips you with advanced search options. In the example below, I have setup a query to only show projects in the "Concept" stage as well having a due date within the next week.
You could also asjust this query to filter our projects that arent assigned to you, this is particularly useful when there are lots of active projects on your VizSwap site.
You are free to mix and match parts of these searches! Take some time and explore all the options, I'm sure you will find a few that are immensly useful to you.
Saving for later
There are many ways you can set us project filters up on VizSwap, but say you have a filter you would like to save for later. How could we accomplish this? Every search has a unique URL so all we have to do is bookmark this page! In Google Chrome you just click the star in the top right and choose where you want the bookmark to go (alternatively you can drag the lock at the start of the url directly to the folder you want the bookmark in). Try curating a collection of useful views and share them with your team members!
Activity & People
We covered filtering projects & stages, but that's only one way to apply filters. If you navigate to the activity page (https://<yourdomain>.vizswap.com/activity), you will be greeted by another powerful set of filters you can apply to your company's activity.
You can look into who is using the platform, what specific activities are going on, and even choose a specific date range.
The filters are available on your company-wide activity and on specific project's activity feed. You can also check a specific user's activity by visiting their profile page, but the advanced filters are not available there.
Again, take some time experimenting with these filters and you will absolutely find some useful combinations and use cases! Don't worry, it takes time to learn what you are looking for, but using these filters is an amazing way to keep up-to-date with what matters.
