VizSwap offers your company an amazing way to gather intel from your customers!
This article is also available in video form!
How to Start:
Log in to your VizSwap site (https://<yourdomain>.vizswap.com), and from the dropdown at the top right, select "Questionnaires":
On this page, you will see a list of all questionnaires setup in your company. You can either create a new one, or edit an existing one. For this walkthrough, let's edit the "Sample Questionnaire".
Types of Prompts:
After deciding on a meaninful title for your Questionnaire and clicking the "Add new Question" area, there are a number of available questions (or "prompts") you can use to craft a questionnaire. The overall goal with this feature is to provide a way you can get intel from your customers and save time!
(With each question type below, we have added a screenshot of the question's edit screen and what the prompt will look like to the client filling it out in the future)
1. Information
These questions provide context to your clients, and let you describe the purpose of filling out this form on VizSwap. You can even link to a video that will be shown when someone starts filling out the form.
2. Option Selections
These questions are one of the most interesting and powerful parts of VizSwap Questionnaires. They can allow customers to choose from options you've setup (even with custom images), input custom options, and even integrate with project boards by having the "selections" create boards when the questionnaire is filled out!
3. File Uploads
These questions allow for files to be submitted alongside the questionnaire's response. Please note that files uploaded through VizSwap Questionnaires will be placed in a different part of the app than the files and images uploaded to project boards. For more info, read How to Create Projects & Boards. Be intentional about where you want to organize your project's files and you can save a lot of time.
4. Text Areas
This question allows for long-form responses, and is a nice option for getting input, thoughts, and details from your customers.
You did it!
Now that you have a complete questionnaire, all that's left is to preview what it's going to look like to your customers and then to send it! The preview button will show you exactly what your customers are going to see.
Then when you are done, you can "Go back to Edit" page with the button at the top of the screen.
