Vizswap supports what is called the iCal calendar format. This means that you can get the tasks from the app onto your calendar of choice and have that calendar stay in sync with your company's progress on Vizswap.
To get started, visit your profile page and take notice of the "Tasks Calendar Link" section of the page. This URL should be kept secret, do not share with anyone or any app unless you want to share read-only access to your Vizswap tasks.
There are 2 methods to setting up the Tasks Calendar with your calendar of choice. The automatic method, and the manual method.
The Automatic Method
Simply left clicking or tapping on the calendar URL should open up your calendar of choice and prompt you to add or subscribe to the Vizswap Task Calendar. After getting things linked up, it it up to your chosen calendar app to periodically fetch updates from Vizswap. Completed tasks with have "[x]" as a prefix to their name to easily tell them apart from current tasks.
Microsoft Outlook & Apple Calendar will get changes from Vizswap within a few minutes, Google Calendar takes 5+ hours to update with the latest details. If you see something on your calendar you feel is not up to date, anytime you can click on the task's link to go back into Vizswap and see the most up to date details.
The Manual Method
Start on your profile page with a right click or long tap on the box with the Task Calendar Link to copy the link to your clipboard. Each calendar app is a bit different, but the general process is to hit "Import from URL" and paste in the link we just copied. You can search online for "adding iCal Link to <my calendar app>" to get more specific help with this step.
